Faith Christian took down Dell City 59-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Israel Ramirez ran for 95 yards in the win.
The Lions led TCAL Division I - District 5 (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 59 points on the Cougars. Ramirez in the win.
El Paso HomeSchool's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Esteban Melendez threw for 75 and two touchdowns and Wyatt Dorman had 72 yards receiving. On the ground Melendez chipped in 190 yards. Tanner Sanderson helped El Paso HomeSchool's passing attack out by catching two balls for 15 yards.
Melendez has thrown for 486 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Sanderson has 21 catches for 198 yards. Melendez also leads the league in rushing with 471 yards.
Faith Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 661 from 724. The advance stemmed from a 59-13 victory over Dell City last week.
