Providence Christian Academy won the last time they faced Greene County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Storm walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Providence Christian Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-18.

Providence Christian Academy was led to victory by Leyu Hoover and Sydney Cook. Hoover had six aces, while Cook had four aces and one block. That's the most aces Cook has posted over her last eight matchups.

They weren't the only good server: Providence Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive contests.

Providence Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Greene County, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Coincidentally, Providence Christian Academy and Greene County will both be playing Elbert County the next time they take the court. The Storm will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
