Basketball Recap: Costa Mesa Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Costa Mesa came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 67-24 loss at the hands of the Huntington Beach Oilers. The Mustangs lost against the Oilers in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 75-65 score last time.

Costa Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Huntington Beach, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Costa Mesa won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Corona del Mar at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huntington Beach, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on California at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Oilers will need to watch out since the Condors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
