Centennial had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They took down the Manual Arts Toilers 39-25. The 39-point effort marked the Apaches' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Manual Arts, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
