Basketball Game Preview: Wingate Generals vs. Thomas Jefferson Campus Orange Wave

The Wingate Generals are taking a road trip to challenge the Thomas Jefferson Campus Orange Wave at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Wingate is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Wednesday, everything came up roses for Wingate against Bathgate as the squad secured a 41-7 win. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Thomas Jefferson Campus' good fortune finally ran out on February 9th. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to Medgar Evers College Prep. The matchup marked the Orange Wave's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Thomas Jefferson Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Wingate, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Wingate came up short against Thomas Jefferson Campus in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, falling 59-47. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
