Volleyball Recap: Atkins Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Atkins won the last time they faced Perryville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Devils as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Atkins walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Atkins' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Perryville, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Atkins is set to take on their familiar foe Mayflower at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Perryville will square off against rival Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
