Corning had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Bruno Lopez sure wasn't going down easily. Lopez scored a run while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Looking ahead, Lopez and Corning will take on Shasta in a tournament on Thursday. Corning hasn't beaten Shasta recently, having gone 0-3 since March of 2015.
