Alamosa had already won 13 in a row and they went ahead and made it 14 on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Alamosa walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-8.

Alamosa was led to victory by Addison Rice and Egypt Holman. Rice had 19 digs and three assists, while Holman had ten digs. Rice has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Alamosa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Alamosa's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Montezuma-Cortez, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Alamosa will venture away from home to challenge Wiggins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Montezuma-Cortez, they will head out to take on Grand County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
