Haverling is a perfect 4-0 against Le Roy since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will square off against the Oatkan Knights at 4:30 p.m. Haverling has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while Le Roy will come in with ten straight wins.

Haverling came into this matchup off a tough seven-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Livonia by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rams have suffered since March 28, 2024.

Meanwhile, Le Roy never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Keshequa as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Oatkan Knights, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jake Higgins and Peter Clark did most of the damage at the plate: Higgins went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Clark got on base in three of his six plate appearances with two runs.

Le Roy pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Haverling, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Haverling has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Le Roy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Haverling beat Le Roy 5-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
