Football Recap: Lampeter-Strasburg Comes Up Short

Lampeter-Strasburg entered their contest against Wyomissing on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pioneers had to suffer through a 46-7 loss at the hands of the Spartans. The Pioneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-0.

Lampeter-Strasburg's loss came despite strong showings from Colby Dejessa and Brady Cunningham. Dejessa rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown, while Cunningham rushed for 46 yards.

Lampeter-Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Wyomissing, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Lampeter-Strasburg nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
