Basketball Recap: Teague Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Teague's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-47 win over the Terrell Tigers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Teague's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Leija, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points and three steals. JADEN COLE was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Teague's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Terrell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Teague wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-22 defeat against Scurry-Rosser on the 12th. As for Terrell, they will have a chance to keep the ball rolling against Harmony at 12:30 p.m. on Friday following yesterday's win. Terrell will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
