Basketball Recap: Clovis North Skates Past Mountain House with Ease

Clovis North won the last time they faced Mountain House and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Clovis North Broncos really took it to the Mountain House Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-38 victory. The Broncos pushed the score to 57-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs had little chance of recovering from.

Mountain House's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Shamar Jones, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds, and Coldin Parker, who put up ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Jones has posted since back in November of 2024.

With the win, Clovis North broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-4. As for Mountain House, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Clovis North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-60 victory against Clovis East on the 10th. As for Mountain House, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 87-47 win against Patterson on the 8th.
