Game recap: Jenks High School Football Team beats Union

JENKS, Okla. - Jenks (Okla.) snapped the 11-game winning streak of Union (Tulsa, Okla.), with a 38-22 victory on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Trojans were up 30-15 at the half.

Jenks grew its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. JHS scored once in the quarter on a passing touchdown.

With the win the Trojans extended their winning streak to 14 games. Jenks defeated Westmoore 46-14 last week.

The Redskins came in surrendering 16.0 points per game this season. Union struggled against Jenks' offense, which entered the game scoring 31.6 points per game.



JHS avenged last year's 14-7 loss to UHS with the victory.

The defeat comes as a step back for Union, which notched a 30-18 victory over Broken Arrow in its previous outing.
