Recap: Carrboro Jaguars vs. Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs
The Carrboro Jaguars can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 65-20 win over Durham School of the Arts. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-9.
It was another big night for Summer Lee, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 19 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Yazmin Paisant, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Carrboro and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Durham School of the Arts, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Carrboro will be playing in front of their home fans against J.F. Webb at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. J.F. Webb will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 559th, while Carrboro is ranked 176th). As for Durham School of the Arts, they will head out on the road to take on South Granville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Granville is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
