Softball Recap: Hazleton Area Comes Up Short

Hazleton Area was the 11-10 winner over Wilkes-Barre when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saige Klesh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Kayla Lagowy, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Hazleton Area's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Wilkes-Barre, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.

As of now, neither Hazleton Area nor the Wolfpack have any future games scheduled.
