Basketball Recap: Providence Country Day Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Providence Country Day made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Providence, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 40-38 on Monday. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Providence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makenna Heon, who posted ten points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariana Xavier, who had eight points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Providence Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Providence, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
