Softball Preview: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Clinton Cougars        
        
		
            
 The Big Foot Chiefs will head out on the road to  face off against  the Clinton Cougars at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Big Foot is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
 Big Foot will bounce into Thursday's   game after  beating Turner, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Big Foot put the hurt on Turner with a sharp  14-6 victory on Tuesday. Considering Big Foot has won four matches by more than seven  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Holly Kynell was a major factor no matter where she played. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Kynell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Kynell was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Lily Wolf was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-6.  Kate Hummel was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Clinton won against Evansville  on Monday with six  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. Clinton walked away with  a   6-3  win over Edgerton. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Clinton.
  Jordi Morrison was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Allie Bell, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Big Foot's record is now 6-3. As for Clinton, their record now sits at 2-4.
 Big Foot skirted past Clinton  3-2 when the teams last played  on April 6th. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Clinton's  Ashley Theisen, who   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 19 over nine innings pitched. Now that she's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Big Foot still be able to contain  Theisen? There's only one way to find out.
