Volleyball Preview: Piner Prospectors vs. Healdsburg Greyhounds
Piner and Healdsburg are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but not for long. The Piner Prospectors will square off against the Healdsburg Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Healdsburg didn't have quite enough to beat St. Vincent de Paul on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Greyhounds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-23 in the first set.
Healdsburg took St. Vincent de Paul into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-10, 20-25, 15-12.
The losing side was boosted by Siena Sbragia, who had seven digs.
Piner's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-10. As for Healdsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.
Piner took their win against Healdsburg in their previous matchup on October 3rd by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Piner since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
