Baseball Recap: Covenant Christian Warriors vs. Riverside Argonauts        
        
		
            
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Covenant Christian had no problem doing just that  on Monday. They blew past the Riverside Argonauts 14-2. With that  win, Covenant Christian brought their scoring average up to 6.3  runs per game.
  Jack Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Anderson was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 In other pitching news,  Henry Boyce looked comfortable as he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate, Covenant Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Nolan Jones, who  went 1-for-1 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Nolan Moore was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Covenant Christian has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record  this season. As for Riverside, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Covenant Christian will challenge University at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Covenant Christian comes in on four and University on three. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
