Willow Canyon took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Gilbert, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since October 11, 2024.

Willow Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keely Blady, who had 12 digs and 12 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Scogin, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Willow Canyon's record now sits at 4-1. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
