If West Morgan wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Brewer, they should've done a better job of containing Cale Smith. The Patriots managed a 68-64 victory over the Rebels on Tuesday thanks in part to Smith, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Ryder Anaya also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Brewer's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for West Morgan, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Brewer will head out to challenge Arab at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Morgan, they will host Tanner at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
