The Stuarts Draft Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Stonewall Jackson Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Stuarts Draft is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Stuarts Draft will bounce into Monday's match after beating Wilson Memorial, who they had gone 0-8-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cougars came out on top against the Green Hornets by a score of 4-2 two weeks ago. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Stuarts Draft considering their one-goal performance the game before.

They hit Wilson Memorial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from John Hayes, Jaime Loya, Matthew Prospt, and Anthony Gomez.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Stonewall Jackson brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against Rappahannock County on Friday as they made off with a 6-2 win. The result was nothing new for Stonewall Jackson, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

With the victory, Stonewall Jackson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-5-2. As for Stuarts Draft, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Stuarts Draft took their victory against Stonewall Jackson when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
