Game recap: Johnson County High School Football Team takes down Savannah Christian

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Johnson County (Wrightsville, Ga.) and Savannah Christian (Savannah, Ga.) both tightened up defensively, but Johnson County managed to score enough to pull out the 14-7 victory.

The Trojans scored on two rushing touchdowns to secure the victory.

After nabbing the lead on a touchdown, the Raiders went into halftime with a 8-6 lead. Johnson County took the lead to win the game on a Michael Taylor touchdown run in the third quarter.

With the win JC extended its winning streak to five games. Johnson County defeated Savannah Country Day 26-6 last week.



Savannah Christian's lone touchdown came on a pass in the second quarter.

The loss comes after Savannah Christian defeated Montgomery County 23-7 last week. The loss broke Savannah Christian's two-game winning streak.
