Football Game Preview: Picayune Maroon Tide vs. Hancock Hawks + Official Tickets

The Picayune Maroon Tide will take on the Hancock Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Picayune had just enough and edged out Pascagoula 38-36. The victory continues a trend for the Maroon Tide in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Picayune's defensive line made their presence known, laying out Jarrad Loper Jr. four times. Pascagoula's QB won't forget Kylen Egana anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, Hancock made easy work of Pearl River Central on Friday and carried off a 41-21 win.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Kaison Koenenn and Titus Feaster. Koenenn had a great game and rushed for 133 yards and three TDs. Meanwhile, Feaster was balling out in the loss, throwing for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 56 yards and one score.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Picayune, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Picayune strolled past Hancock in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 35-17. Do the Maroon Tide have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
