Football Recap: Bellarmine College Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bellarmine College Prep extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 2-8. They took a blow against the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs, falling 42-0. If the Bells were looking for revenge after losing 41-7 to the Monarchs when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Archbishop Mitty, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Archbishop Mitty to victory were Lazaro Faraj-Washington and Joseph Engin. Faraj-Washington rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Engin threw for 111 yards and one TD. Faraj-Washington is becoming a predictor of the Monarchs' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

As of now, neither Bellarmine College Prep nor Archbishop Mitty have any future games scheduled.
