It was a proper cat-fight when Lenawee Christian took on Michigan Center on Monday. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

Lenawee Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for Michigan Center, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Lenawee Christian and Whiteford will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Michigan Center, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hanover-Horton at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
