After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frankston, Elkhart was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took down the Crockett Bulldogs 42-27. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Elks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Elkhart's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Crockett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.

Elkhart will take on Westwood at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Crockett, they will challenge Coldspring-Oakhurst at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Crockett is facing Coldspring-Oakhurst at the right time seeing as Coldspring-Oakhurst is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
