Lee-Scott Academy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 28) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Reeltown Rebels 28-25. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 26-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brooks Zachry produced another solid performance rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 55 yards and one TD.

When it comes to explaining why Reeltown lost, don't look at Traylen Roberts. Despite the final result, he rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores.

Lee-Scott Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Reeltown, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lee-Scott Academy will challenge Hale County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Reeltown, they will take on Highland Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
