Soccer Recap: North Lamar Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

North Lamar kept a clean sheet against Mount Vernon on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Mount Vernon Tigers 1-0. Cade Wolfe had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Panthers.

The win (which was North Lamar's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Mount Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

North Lamar has already played their next game, a 3-3 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 14th. As for Mount Vernon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Chapel Hill on the 14th.
