Basketball Recap: Lanesboro Takes a Loss

Lanesboro lost against Grand Meadow back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lanesboro Burros were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Grand Meadow Superlarks. The Burros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lanesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Grand Meadow, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

Lanesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Meadow, they will host Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Grand Meadow's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Wabasha-Kellogg has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road.
