Baseball Recap: Big Sandy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Big Sandy extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping them up to 16-12. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Evadale Rebels. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Rebels on their field since April 3, 2023.

Big Sandy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Ratcliff, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Ezekiel Angel was another, earning two runs and one stolen base.

As for Evadale, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9. Rebels fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Big Sandy since Saturday.

On Evadale's side, Cooper Palmer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Gray, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

As of now, neither Big Sandy nor Evadale have any future games scheduled.
