Basketball Recap: Pat Feamster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Friends' Central over Malvern Prep

Friends' Central lost against Malvern Prep back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Friends' Central fell just short of the Malvern Prep Friars by a score of 57-54. Friends' Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Friends' Central players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Pat Feamster, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points. Gabe Moore was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Friends' Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Malvern Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Friends' Central will venture away from home to face off against Episcopal Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Episcopal Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Friends' Central likes a good challenge. As for Malvern Prep, they will welcome Bishop Shanahan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
