Soccer Game Preview: Saucon Valley vs. Palisades

The Saucon Valley Panthers will take on the Palisades Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Saucon Valley has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Palisades will arrive with six straight wins.

Saucon Valley fell victim to Bangor and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Slaters by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Palisades' match on Saturday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let Lehighton get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Palisades, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Palisades' win bumped their record up to 13-3-1. As for Saucon Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-2.
