Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George Wythe). They never let the Galax Maroon Tide get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Hannah Repass as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory got George Wythe back to even at 3-3-2. As for Galax, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Coincidentally, George Wythe and Galax will both be playing Giles the next time they take the pitch. The Maroons will head out to face the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Maroon Tide will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
