See the video above for a complete breakdown of this week's Xcellent 25 High School Basketball Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

Here's a look at developments that shaped this week's Top 25:

Top-ranked Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) sewed up an unblemished regular season for head coach Kevin Boyle, finishing 32-0 after a going 3-0 at the Metro Classic in New Jersey. The Eagles took down Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.) 60-59, Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, N.J.) 71-48 and Christ the King (Middle Village, N.Y.) 85-59.

Montverde faced a six-point deficit with under 30 seconds remaining Friday against Roselle Catholic. R.J. Barrett, the top prospect in the Class of 2018, came to the rescue and led a furious comeback, scoring the final seven points for the win.

The Florida powerhouse is the clear No. 1 seed for this year's GEICO High School Basketball Nationals (formerly Dick's Sporting Goods High School Nationals). Boyle's team owns big wins over DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.), La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.), Simeon (Chicago, Ill.), Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.), Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.) and Jefferson (Ore.).

Oak Hill Academy suffers first loss

Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) fell to 36-1 after falling to Sunrise Christian Academy Elite (Bel Aire, Kan.) 76-65. The Warriors have eight regular season games remaining to recover from the tough loss before gearing up for postseason play.

Sunrise Christian has been on a tear this month, jumping 16 spots in the rankings and notching signature wins over Oak Hill Academy, Findlay Prep and St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.). The Buffaloes confirmed they will be eligible for next month's Geico Nationals and likely will be one of the teams that will travel to the Big Apple for their first appearance in the event.

Unbeatens begin postseason play

Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, Calif.) finished an undefeated regular season with a 67-63 win over Cantwell-Sacred Heart (Montebello, Calif.). CIF Southern Section Open Division play begins Friday against St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.).

Garfield (Seattle) claimed the Metro League title, taking down rival Rainier Beach (Seattle) 72-68 last week. The Bulldogs open district Tuesday against Seattle Prep (Seattle), which took Garfield to overtime earlier this season.

Paul VI clinches WCAC Title

Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.) suffered a huge loss last week with news that senior leader and Villanova commit Brandon Slater would likely be out for the season after breaking a bone in his left hand.

Despite losing one of their best players, the Panthers continued their 21-game winning streak and clinched at least a tie of the WCAC regular season title with a 58-51 win over Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.).

Paul VI will host Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Md.), DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) and Archbishop Carroll (Washington, D.C.) this week with a chance to earn the outright WCAC regular season title and secure a perfect record in league play.
