Basketball Recap: St. Regis Falls Comes Up Short

St. Regis Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the Colton-Pierrepont Colts on the road by a 62-46 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-31 back in December of 2024.

St. Regis Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Colton-Pierrepont, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Regis Falls will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Lawrence Central at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they will square off against Brushton-Moira at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Brushton-Moira's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Colton-Pierrepont has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
