Soccer Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

The Collinsville Kahoks came up short against the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins on Monday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Collinsville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Father McGivney Catholic are ranked 20th).

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Father McGivney Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

Coincidentally, Collinsville and Father McGivney Catholic will both be playing Triad the next time they take the pitch. The Kahoks will head out to face the Knights at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Griffins will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
