After a string of five wins, Wiseburn- Da Vinci's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Marquez Gladiators.

Andre Pimienta paced Wiseburn- Da Vinci's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pimienta got some help from Dylan Soriano and his 21 assists. Finally, Miles Walker and Sai Santiago kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Marquez, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against East Valley on the 8th. As for Marquez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Chatsworth on the 8th.
