Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Air Academy Kadets.

Roosevelt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ezra Arp, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Maximus Nebel also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Even though they lost, Roosevelt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Air Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-0-1.

Coming up, Roosevelt will square off against Forest Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Air Academy, they will take on West Salem in a tournament on Thursday.
