Baseball Recap: Westmoreland Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Westmoreland's offense. They lost 16-0 to the West Canada Valley Nighthawks on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Nighthawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Westmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Canada Valley, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westmoreland will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Adirondack at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for West Canada Valley, they will challenge Tully at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th.
