Baseball Recap: Mcminn Central Continues Home Dominance on Friday

McMinn Central waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Sequatchie County Indians. Five seems to be a good number for the Chargers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Tyler Oaks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up 13 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hunter Rayburn, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Hammond, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

McMinn Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April.
