Softball Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

Collinsville fell victim to Bonham and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bonham Warriors, falling 9-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Collinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bonham, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collinsville will face off against Tom Bean at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tom Bean has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.75 runs per game on average), something Collinsville will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bonham, they will square off against Pilot Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
