Soccer Game Preview: Bethel Christian vs. Covenant Classical Community

Bethel Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Covenant Classical Community Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bethel Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Rock Church. The shutout was out of character for Bethel Christian seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Meanwhile, Covenant Classical Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of TEACH Homeschool. That's two games in a row now that Covenant Classical Community have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Carson Marr, who's now up to three this season.

Covenant Classical Community now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bethel Christian, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.
