Football Recap: Norcross Falls Short of Grayson in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Norcross and Grayson squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Norcross had to settle for second. They were dealt a 44-7 defeat at the hands of the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Deuce Smith looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 252 yards and two TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (165.2). Grayson also got help from Saif Bin-Wahad, who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.

Norcross' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Grayson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Norcross does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grayson, they will face off against Colquitt County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 984 yards in their previous games.
