 In what's become a running theme this season, St. Patrick gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West Marion Trojans  an   8-0 shutout. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for St. Patrick as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tara Nasakaitis, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Peyton Parks, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 On West Marion's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Gracie Odom, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases.
 St. Patrick's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for West Marion, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-5-1.
 St. Patrick will head out on the road to  face off against  Poplarville at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for West Marion, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Loyd Star at 6:30  p.m. West Marion will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
