Softball Recap: Lake Highlands Comes Up Short

Lake Highlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Nimitz Vikings, falling 20-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Lake Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Nimitz, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.

While Lake Highlands had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
