The Granby Rams will challenge the Ware Indians at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Granby will be strutting in after a victory while Ware will be coming in after a loss.
On Wednesday, Granby got the win against Sabis International by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.
Granby not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sabis International between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Granby's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake Gagnon led the charge by getting ten kills, four aces, and one block. Gagnon is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Nathan Walsh was another key player, getting six kills, three digs, and three aces.
They weren't the only good server: Granby was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Ware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Southwick Regional, falling 3-0.
While Ware was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.
Ware's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Granby, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Granby skirted past Ware 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
