Volleyball Recap: Red Bank Regional Comes Up Short

Red Bank Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Lakewood Piners, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bucs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-13.

Red Bank Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Lakewood, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Red Bank Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Long Branch on the 24th. Lakewood has also already played their next matchup (against New Brunswick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
