Basketball Recap: Thomas Jefferson School Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thomas Jefferson School can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 58-16 loss at the hands of the Westwood Baptist Academy Eagles. The Titan haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Leading Westwood Baptist Academy to victory were Robbie Dodd and Gage Barker. Dodd posted nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, while Barker went 6 for 9 on his way to 13 points. Barker has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Braydn Wood, who scored six points and three steals.

Thomas Jefferson School's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
