Basketball Recap: Bravo Comes Up Short

Bravo lost against Wilson last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bravo Knights fell 60-52 to the Wilson Mules. The defeat leaves the Knights without a win on the season.

Despite the loss, Bravo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Julian Ojeda went 8 of 14 en route to 19 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Arriaga, who posted three points along with nine boards, six assists, and four steals.

Even though they lost, Bravo was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Bravo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wilson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-11.

Bravo has already played their next matchup (against Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wilson will head out to challenge Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wilson is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
